Abstract
This paper reports an analog to digital converter (ADC) based on a simple chaotic circuit, which composed of only one operational amplifier (opamp), two small capacitors and a few analog switches. In our method, converted results come from chaotic sequences started from given initial voltages. The circuit topology can be changed by a discrete controller on the switches. This way, the opamp is used to sample the initial voltage, iterate the chaotic voltages on the two capacitors, and compare them with a reference voltage.
