  • Abstract
Modem organizations and corporations are becoming more and more dynamic and complex. Hierarchies are just one view at the structure of an organization. More and more research is carried out regarding informal networks within companies. These networks are an essential part of the company because they ease the way work is done within the company. In this paper, we describe informal corporate networks especially from the view point of employees who recently joined a company, ways to create informal corporate networks and potential benefits of these networks regarding the company and the employee.
