Abstract :
Continuous phase modulation has been investigated in recent years because of its desirable spectral properties. A partially coherent detector for CPM has previously been derived and its performance investigated for an additive white Gaussian noise channel. This paper extends the previous results by considering the effects of an interfering user. Variation of the optimum modulation index with interference power-to-signal power ratio is discussed as well
