Abstract :
An English to Chinese MT (machine translation) system, AUTOTEC, which uses a multilevel reconstruction approach, is presented. The translation in the system is performed in a sequential, phrasal, and lexical order. Through the hierarchical processing, the large linguistic differences between English and Chinese can be well bridged
