Abstract :
Surface potential decay on corona charged PTFE film with floating back electrode is investigated. The dependence of the decay behavior upon charging temperature as well as charging time is revealed. Obtained results indicate that both positive and negative charges exhibit exponential decay. The charge stability can be promoted by thermal treatment with appropriate charging temperature and charging time.
