    This paper outlines the research, design, development and implementation of a PC-based condition monitoring (CM) system for a set of electropneumatic point machines (EPPM) on the Northern Line, London Underground Limited (LUL). A new methodology was adopted in this work for the integration of a condition monitoring system with the reliability centred maintenance (RCM) strategy
