Abstract :
The surface of PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) electrets was treated by hexamethyl disilazane until a stable retention of charges was achieved. Adopting suitable organic reagents and treated conditions, the surface treatment of polar polymers will be able to modify the stability of electret charge retention
