Abstract :
In this paper, we present a simple approach for cartoon model reconstruction from image sequence. We take a set of photos around Ultramam(Japan cartoon character) model, which is on the pattern board using a digital camera. According the calibrate algorithm, we can get the intrinsic and extrinsic parameters easily. Then we reconstruct the cartoon model from images according the shape from silhouettes, and using marching cubes algorithm to get the three-dimensional mesh model. Finally, we textured it and get a very good result actually.
