Abstract :
Transient currents were measured in discharge mode with ethyl-cellulose (EC):polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) compound samples as a function of charging field, temperature, and polymer weight ratio. These currents have been found to follow the Curie-von Schweidler law characterized with different slopes in short and long time regions. The isochronals have been found to give rise to a peak located at 80°C. The corresponding activation energy values are found to increase with PMMA content and also with time of observation of discharge current
