Abstract :
Decisions in a complex practical problem is usually a multistep process. Decision makers are interested in such dynamic information: if we increase certain inputs to a particular production activity, how much more outputs could it produce? Whether the current input scale is proper for its output return? If not, how to achieve the proper input scale? This paper treats these questions as POST-DEA problems. POST-DEA analysis is concerned with studying the possible influence in the available optimal solution as a result of making changes in the original model parameters, or searching for possible adjustments in the model parameters when certain optimal results need to be achieved. By combining BCC model and Elasticity Analysis model, POST-DEA analysis is preliminarily illustrated by a numerical case.
