Abstract
Antenna factors of dipole antennas in the frequency range 20 MHz to 600 MHz have been determined to an uncertainty of /spl plusmn/0.1 dB (95%CL) and of monopole antennas in the range 10 MHz to 100 MHz to an uncertainty of /spl plusmn/0.15 dB. This leads to an advance in the precision with which electric field strength of free-space signals can be measured.
