Abstract
Due to its importance during the cardiac resuscitation work, routine calibration is needed to ensure the proper performance of a defibrillator. However, the accuracy of defibrillator testers is not adequate for this purpose. This paper describes a microcontroller-based defibrillator analyzer system that has been designed to give the amount of energy delivered during one defibrillator discharge, this system is more accurate and gives more parameters to asses the defibrillator performance than other systems
