  • Abstract
    The paper deals with calculation of start-up characteristics of a Boucherot type squirrel cage winding of an induction machine. The characteristics themselves are calculated in two possible ways - considering and neglecting saturation of machine´s steel. The results of both types of calculations are compared and checked through measured start-up test.
