Abstract :
A new technique for frequency measurement is proposed. This paper shows not only the derivation of the marginal density of frequency, for later statistical analysis, but also develops an algorithm to get an accurate estimate of frequency from this marginal density. Since it is not easy to directly select samples from the marginal density for frequency, a rejection sampling scheme is used instead of the marginal density itself. The estimate of frequency is then the mean of the samples generated from this rejection sampling scheme
