Abstract :
This contribution presents a simple way of increasing the bandwidth of a small planar inverted-F antenna by employing a parasitic element. An antenna design for wireless local area networks at 2.4 GHz is described. Both theoretical and experimental results show that noticeable improvement in the antenna operational bandwidth can be achieved
