Abstract
The paper presents the experiments developed in order to establish an improved processing technique for ceramic materials, characterized by low temperature and short heating time. The aims are the enhancement of electrical and mechanical properties, when compared to the ceramics prepared by conventional sintering process. The advantages of the new technique based on microwaves were evidenced.
