Abstract :
The measurement of the surface impedance is always difficult at microwave frequencies, especially for superconductors. We give a new method particularly suitable for thin films. It is based on a microcalorimeter whose thermal load is realized by a superconducting thin film that works as a bolometer. The measurement system has been tested in Ka-frequency band for classic superconductors.
