Abstract :
The effective use of multiple data sets with different export/import requirements has become a necessity, as the scope and complexity of models becomes greater so the ability to manage effectively becomes increasingly important. The continued viability of any VR management tool is judged solely upon it´s ability to allow free movement between the data collation methods i.e. CAD, survey data, photographs, Ordnance Survey data etc. and the final visualisation. The integration of different data types within an individual model is illustrated in the VR model of Urquhart Castle
