Abstract :
Using GEO to broadcast the augmentation information of satellite navigation system is an effective method for navigation and positioning. However, in some special cases, for example in cities or canyon, in which the signal will be sheltered by big buildings or mountains, it becomes difficult to receive GEO signal in this situation. Therefore, it is necessary to design new methods to broadcast augmentation information of satellite navigation system, as the compensation of GEO methods. In this paper, a Internet-based broadcast network is proposed, which aims to utilize the infrastructure of Internet to broadcast the augmentation information of satellite navigation system, which is based on application layer multicast protocol and P2P. Simulation results show that this network is able to support the large scale requirements of the broadcast network.
