Abstract
In the biological systems, the time plays an important role in codifying and processing the input signals. This paper proposes a coding rule that solves the pattern normalization problem and segregation of one pattern from multiple patterns presented in the same time to the network. Also, a new type of neuron´s selectivity characteristic is developed.
