Abstract
It can be observed in electrets of PET-A, using the windowing polarization technique and TSC (thermally stimulated current) spectroscopy, that the polar peak (α) and the peak of charge (ρ) show a maximum polarization at a certain temperature of polarization T p=T po. The peak α, for T p>T po, shows maxima at a temperature (T m) that is constant versus T p as long as P =f (1/T p) is a linear function, and it is possible to calculate its effective energy of activation above the T po. The peak ρ, for T p>T po, results in a plot of P =f (1/T p) that is not linear, whereas T m=f (T p) is a linear and increasing function. The results obtained from PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) are compared and discussed
