Abstract
The photon counting data of toxicological tests using Daphnia similis under K2Cr2O7 (potassium dichromate) are presented and discussed for five different series of experiments, showing very non-linear behavior in response to the chemical compound concentration. It is noted that stressed samples´ counting distribution incidence can be distinguished from the control one by devising the right (higher) or left (lower) shifts. The results point to further explorations of photon-counting applications in toxicology.
