Abstract :
In this paper, we present our definition of a particular ontology of the Civil Aviation Information System. Therefore we have a fundamental information framework for the whole system. We also show the mapping of models between OWL and XML, which are both quite useful. And with OWL-S, we describe and extend definition of web services in the system. All these not only unifies the information in the system, but also, very importantly, makes the system more intelligent and automatic, realizing the auto-discovery, auto-matching, and auto-composition of services there.
