Abstract
In recent years, the request for radioisotopes has been increasing steadily. Experiments in the past five years have demonstrated production of Short-Lived radioisotopes (SLRs) with a plasma focus devices. Radioisotope activity only a few microcuries have been obtained from single discharges in small scale plasma focus machines and at high pulse repetition rate in large and high energy plasma focus devices and these devices will be used to breed Short-Lived radioisotopes (SLRs) for positron emission medical examination such as PET.
