A method of software watermarking

Code obfuscation and software watermarking are the important methods of software security. Code obfuscation increases the difficulty of reverse engineering while software watermarking can provide the copyright information for the software products. In this paper, a scheme of zero-watermarking is proposed which can embed the watermarking information into programs without additional codes. The watermarking information is hidden in the program when the process of code obfuscation is executed. It means that the watermarking information is embedded into the program by the way of code obfuscation. The Combination between software watermarking and code obfuscation would make the reverse engineering more difficult and the software products more secure.
