  • Abstract
In the real business environment, "periodical balancing" is the most frequent and important balancing method adopted by most supply chain partners, but little literature has discussed the capital management problems and the corresponding information system for the periodical balancing environment. In this paper, we first present our agile supply chain management system (ASCMS) as a system framework, and then propose a feasible idea to deal with the capital management problems in periodical balancing environment. Next, the capital resource management model is presented, and two important periodical balancing procedures, which are used in order payment and product pricing, are also discussed in detail. Parts of the ASCMS solution have already successfully been implemented in a Chinese state-owned attire company
