  • Abstract
    A general and flexible image management system is presented, that allows a global view on one station of all clinical tests data (i.e. clinical records, images and signals) with many manipulation and processing tools, obtaining an easy user interaction for clinical and also research needs. The system presented is being set up in a Cardiology Department, although the design lines are quite general. The implementation uses object oriented C++ programming language and MS Windows operating system for the high-level user interface; it can be easily ported to other platforms such as, for example, Macintosh or Unix-X11
