Abstract

This paper presents a performance analysis of TCSCs located in the Brazilian North/Southeast regions interconnection. The focus of this study is the dynamic interaction of these systemic control devices. The obtained results show a non harmonious behavior of TCSCs in the present configuration (with three circuits); although any damage of the SIN global dynamic performance was not observed. Nevertheless, in order to improve the dynamic performance of the equipment, some changes in the control algorithms are proposed.
