Abstract :
This paper discusses the strength and weakness of existing types of image reject down-converters under broadband operation conditions. Four different designs of image-reject mixers were implemented using a 0.18 μm CMOS technology. The mixers down-converted signals of 60 MHz bandwidth from 1.8 GHz to 70 MHz. The results were compared.
