Abstract :
This article presents a resonant high-voltage supply and a strategy for balancing the power among paralleled loads. The balance is done through series compensation using the technique of Direct Reactance Synthesis that is able to synthesize positive or negative inductance, tuning the resonance of each load at a same frequency, thus balancing the power. The application is ozone production by electrostatic discharge. Simulation and experimental results show the behavior of circuits and control strategies proposed.
