Abstract :
The high cost associated with the development and acquisition of new, highly complex and integrated digital control and avionics systems is leading industry toward increased standardization, modularization, and the use of flexible architectures. This trend is already evident in today´s new fly-by-wire systems and is progressing rapidly into tomorrow´s fly-by-light systems. This paper discusses some concepts and approaches for the development and application of low cost flexible fly-by-light aircraft control
