            Abstract :
This paper proposes an open source software implementation of an power analyzer, running in personal computers. The software uses the power definitions presented in the IEEE Standard 1459-2010. This standard defines the power measurement under sinusoidal, nonsinusoidal, balanced, and unbalanced conditions. The software uses the QT framework that provides easy cross platform compilation. Therefore, the software can be easily ported to different platforms such as Windows, Linux and Mac OS. Simulation and experimental results are presented to validate the proposal.
