Abstract :
This paper investigates the influence on bit error rate (BER) of orthogonal space-time block codes (STBC) over fast-fading channels. More Specifically, we derive the closed-form error probability expressions for MPSK signals over orthogonal STBC for fast fading Rayleigh and Rician channels; after that, extensive simulations with various system parameters have been conducted. In some cases, there exist gaps between theoretical results and computer simulations; we are working on more accurate and realistic analysis of system performance.
