            Abstract : 
The notion of univariate and multivariate orthogonal wavelet packets has been generalized. First, the definition for nonseparable biorthogonal bivariate wavelet packets is given and a procedure of constructing them is described. Second, the biorthogonality property for biorthogonal bivariate wavelet packets is studied.
