One effective design of intelligent hybrid traffic detection equipment

Abstract :
According to the main characteristic of Chinese urban traffic, which is hybrid traffic, use the video image processing method to obtain hybrid traffic parameters on basis of self-adaptive edge contour balance correction algorithm at first. Secondly, combined with the technology of embedded equipment, DSP chip is selected to establish the hardware system. Then, mixed traffic video detection software is built on the computer in order to cooperate with hardware system. Finally, after the algorithm transplantation, the complete intelligent hybrid traffic equipment is formed to obtain parameters and the event information of hybrid traffic. Through experiment, the accuracy and stability of the system is verified for the urban traffic management and control.
