Implementation issues of intelligent control systems in control centers

This paper discusses the issues related to the implementation of intelligent control systems in a power system control center environment As many intelligent applications are being integrated into real-time power system control, their implementation process need to be addressed. In this paper, the authors discuss issues they considered while integrating production versions of intelligent systems in real-time power control environment. They also highlight some crucial aspects of the process such as training, maintenance and support during this implementation.
