Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce the application of topology aggregation in PCE-based WSON network. A wavelength capability matrix was proposed for dealing with the compression of the information about wavelength convertibility. In large scale hierarchical networks, network state information can be effectively compressed by applying topology aggregation and the overhead of communication between PCEs would be reduced at the same time.
