Abstract :
In IEEE 802.22 WRAN networks, spectrum sharing among different cells is an important problem. Aiming at efficiently solving the spectrum sharing problem, a dynamic channel auction scheme is proposed in this paper. Based on auction theory in microeconomics, the proposed algorithm models the spectrum sharing as an auction problem which includes one auctioneer base station and multiple bidder base stations. Simulation results show that our algorithm obtains higher spectrum utilization and higher auction benefit, and guarantees no interference between competitive WRAN base stations.
