Abstract :
This paper proposes a simultaneous route and departure time choice equilibrium formulation. This is accomplished through defining a gap function to convert the variational inequality formulation to an equivalent mathematical program. Two algorithms are given: one is heuristic algorithm based on the gap function; the other is the neural network algorithm. Finally, numerical results for a simple network are provided to demonstrate the feasibility of the solution.
