Abstract
Rescue agents provide a very promising approach for disaster rescue which is one of the most serious social issues. Research on rescue agents will improve people´s capability of tackling natural disasters. In this paper, the simulation system of rescue agents and some concepts related are introduced. An architecture for rescue agents based on BDI model is proposed. This architecture extends the BDI model, adding a learning component, coordination mechanism and social law constraint. This paper also discusses the key techniques for developing rescue agents
