Abstract :
A control method, based on a combination of inverse system and PID controller, is proposed for the level control problem. The inverse system is derived based on the analysis and the establishment of double-hold water tank´s model. The simulation of the pseudo-linear system which is get through connecting the inverse system to the former of the model, the result shows that inverse system achieves the decoupling of the double-hold water tank system basically. In order to obtain a stable level, a PD regulator is designed based on the analysis the Bode diagram of the pseudo-linear system. Simulation and experiment show that the method is more effective with no need of overshoot and shorter adjustment time than the traditional PID control method.
