Abstract
The execution time of missions in the network security detection system differs greatly from each other, and missions may have different priorities, so the queuing strategy now widely used cannot get the maximum users´ satisfaction of the system. Thus, the improved priority queuing strategy is introduced to increase the satisfaction of missions with less executing time or high priority while the satisfaction of the queue doesn´t decline. The inserted position of a new mission is just the location that makes the queue get maximum satisfaction. Simulations show that the improved priority queuing strategy can increase both the satisfaction of missions with high priority and the queue´s satisfaction.
