  • Abstract
    An automatic extraction method of container identity codes based on template matching is proposed. Filtered with both adaptive linear and nonlinear filters, the text lines can be properly located. A series of standard templates has been brought forward according to the align modes of standard container ID codes. The container images to be segmented match with these standard templates and then the container ID codes can be automatically extracted. Results show that this method can segment the container ID codes with high performance.
