Abstract :
A workflow system for SaaS enables organizations of any size to build, execute, manage, and evolve its own process-oriented business applications, and has gradually become a solution for small and medium enterprises to pursue advanced technology and stable service. However, the transaction supporting becomes a problem that prevents the SaaS workflow system wide spreading. In this paper, we propose a flexible compensation mechanism which supports customizable and dynamically deployment compensation process. The mechanism is presented by extended the states transition model of WS-BA. The implementation of the flexible compensation mechanism is discussed by showing the coordination logic and algorithms, and the scheduling mechanism is also addressed.
