Abstract :
The paper introduces a region model of Internet of things based on urban lighting in which transit nodes are integrated into the lamps to form a wireless network perfectly covering a whole area without any problem of energy heterogeneous. People and objects in the special area can be perceived, identified and localized by RFIDs, and they can also get the information they need. The model has been applied in an international science park to create a primary perception region.
