Abstract :
It is discussed in the paper how to compute the capability index of process and its confidence interval for small sample from non-normal distribution which thd typical estimate method is invalid, that is computing generalized capability index of process with bootstrap. It can not only avoid the trouble of data from non-normal distribution, but also resolve the problem of accuracy with small sample. At last, as an example, we computed the the capability index of process and its confidence interval for Weibull distribution, which turns out to be efficacious.
