  • Abstract
    On an LCD (liquid crystal display) rear projector, dot matrix and screen structures make complex moire patterns. These disturbances have been alleviated by making the pitch of the screen pattern finer and by the introduction of a diffusion film between the Fresnel lens and the lenticular lens. an experiment for evaluation of the LCD projection system with rear screen was conducted. The results and the problems that remain to be solved are discussed.<>
