Abstract :
The performance of conventional predictive current control (PCC) is analysed, and a technique is proposed to reduce current errors which arise due to inaccuracies in the system parameters and the non-ideal behaviour of the inverter during steady-state operation, while a current-regulated delta modulator is employed to achieve a fast dynamic response during transient operation. The performance of the proposed PCC, which is simple to implement on a low-cost fixed-point DSP, is demonstrated experimentally
