Abstract :
Results have shown that the random switching techniques reduce the electromagnetic interference, annoying acoustic noise, etc. However, to incorporate the random switching techniques into digital-controlled induction motor drives requires dynamical adjustment of the gains of controllers. This paper presents the details of design and implementation of induction motor drives using the new random switching technique. It is shown in this paper that the sampling frequency of inverter control is constant and therefore it is not required to adjust the gains of controllers. Simulation and experimental results are presented confirming the theoretical analysis and software design
