Abstract
Maintenance scheduling of generating units is an important problem related to power system planning and operation. A good maintenance scheduling can improve the reliability of the system and balance the power demand between different areas. Nowadays, the building of the power plant is more difficult than ever before. The spinning reserve of the power system could not keep up with the rapid load growth. Scheduling the unit maintenance under tight spinning reserve is a difficult task. Treating various constraints, such as the spinning reserve, duration of maintenance, the maintenance crew, etc., as soft constraints, a fuzzy 0-1 integer programming model is adopted in this paper to find the minimum violation under the situation of being unable to find a feasible solution
